After 5 visits from the actual repair person to fix this I finally found the RIGHT part at AppliancePartsPros.com. This part is obviously the right one and the repair person 1st put NO arm on the icemaker - then put a short one on, then put a longer one on but it wasn't the specific part for my icemaker/fridge. Every time you pulled the icemaker drawer out it would pull ice off onto the floor and inside the freezer floor. Now with the right part, everything works as it did originally and this is no longer making me and my wife nuts. Thanks!!!!

I watched the video to see if I could fix it myself. I ordered a part thinking it was broken. When it arrived I could see the old one was intact. We tried to remove the freezer door, but 17 years ago someone jammed a screw into one of the pivot points. After giving up on that, I decided to shimmy under the freezer door arms, which wasn't too hard. After that it was easy. My husband had to pull me out by my feet.
